UUCBV Family Promise Week

Family Promise of B/CS is a temporary shelter for homeless children and their families. This transitional program helps families achieve economic stability so that they may sustain a stable living environment for their children as they continue to attend school.
Over the past year, the UUBCV has committed to help this important non-profit organization with monetary donations and volunteer time.
The UUCBV pledged to be a Host Church for Family Promise once per quarter and our time is coming up -
Sunday, June 12th - Saturday, June 18, 2022
We need volunteers to:
Buy and deliver groceries on Sunday, June 12th around 5:30 pm.
Prepare a warm dinner Sunday, June 12 - Thursday, June 16.
Overnight Hosts to sleep overnight Sunday, June 12th - Saturday, June 18 from 8 PM to 7:00 AM.
The only people who need training are the Overnight & Dinner Hosts. Overnight Hosts will receive training when you arrive for your shift. Dinner Hosts should contact Pam Johnson for training.
