Children
We have many offerings for our children ages 0-12
SUNDAY
If you are a child or youth who would like to go to Religious Education and it is OK with your grownups, you will exit the service after the Time for All Ages. You will have a class that is often filled with stories, art, and activities. There is also time for play!
Your parents can pick you up from RE after service and you can head to coffee hour. Children and youth are welcome to stay with their grownups or you are welcome to come to RE.
Please find Allison Faber, Director of Religious Education, before service for more information!
Homeschool Group
Homeschool meets on the third Thursday of each month at 2PM. Grown ups can socialize or work and Allison will lead activities with the kids.

and other activities for our Youth Group
The UUCBV Youth Group
(ages 12-18) Commonly meets one Friday evening per month.
The UUCBV Youth are also instrumental to our congregation and serve as worship assistants as well as leaders and role models to our younger UUs.

Adults 18 and up can learn during Sunday Service, Reading & Discussion Groups, join our Lunch and Learn series, and Get Involved in many ways.
LUNCH AND LEARN - Each Thursday from 12-1pm!
Join us for our Lunch and Learn Series
UUCBV will host speakers from a variety of organizations followed by an engaging discussion.
Come to learn or to simply stop by and eat lunch with our community each Thursday.
(Un)Common Threads: Fiber Arts Gathering
In person at the church, 6 PM, 3rd Tuesday each month
Started for fiber arts, but open to any artists, makers, musicians...
We would love to have you!
Wednesday Evening Reading Group
Throughout the year, we have reading groups on Wednesday evening. Some of our past reads include Defund Fear: Safety without Policing, Prisons, and Punishment by Zach Norris, How Fascism Works: The Politics of Us Versus Them by Jason Stanley, and On Repentance and Repair: Making Amends in an Unapologetic World by Danya Ruttenberg. We also periodically have courses that address topics like LGBTQIA+ history and advocacy, environmental justice, and anti-racism work. Check out the calendar for our next offering.
