UBarU Update

Thank you for your support of UBarU Camp & Retreat Center- past, present and future!

I hope you and your organizations are weathering this situation with health and patience.  I appreciate all the efforts the various UU organizations are making to offer online opportunities for spiritual and social community.

At UBarU, we have canceled events from March through July which includes our 4 weeks of planned summer camps including youth UU camps and Human Sexuality camp.  We are sad, the youth who were looking forward to coming are sad.  It is disappointing to not be able to be together at camp.

As of right now, camp is closed.  Once the Stay Home orders are lifted, it might be an option for families to come to camp and stay in the cottages while taking the necessary precautions to stay safe.  We will monitor the advise of local and state public health experts as we make decisions about events planned in August and later.  I will email you with details as they become available.

If you have any questions, I am happy to be in touch.  Please email me at director@ubaru.org or call me at 830-460-6002.

Thank you,

Robyn Stout
