THE UUCBV IS SPONSORING THE PRIDE COMMUNITY CENTER POTLUCK PICNIC ON JULY 13TH, 5-7PM

Since 2011, the Pride Community Center sponsored a Pride Picnic in Bryan/College Station in support of the LGBTQ community. These events were well attended and provided a lot of fun with food, games, the park, speakers, etc. This changed dramatically in July 2016 when the planned Pride Picnic was cancelled due to internet threats. Hundreds planned to attend the College Station's Pride Community Center's Annual Picnic on July 10th 2016, and many thought that the crowd would exceed 350 people in light of the recent terror attack at a gay nightclub in Orlando. Unfortunately, the internet threat of a shooting forced the group to cancel the picnic. Since then, the Pride Picnic has not been as successful as it had been previously.

This year, the UUCBV, along with other sponsors, is helping College Station's Pride Community to resume their biggest event of the year, the Pride Picnic of Bryan/College Station, by inviting the group to have their picnic at our temporary home in the TAMU Hillel.

Join us at the ANNUAL SUMMER POTLUCK, Saturday, July 13th from 5pm to 7pm in the multipurpose room at the Hillel, 800 George Bush Drive, College Station.

Show your support for the LGBTQ community in Bryan/College Station and .... eat great food.
