Redeveloping the Gibbons Creek Area (vs. burning coal)

ree

Gibbons Creek

For those interested in hearing about the Gibbons Creek area redeveloped as a wildlife conservation and outdoor recreation area instead of a burning coal plant, this will interest you.

This comes to Rio Brazos Audubon Society -

Hosted by the Texas A&M Recreation, Parks and Tourism Department.

Friday, September 18th, at 12PM.

"We will be talking about the possible reopening of a coal plant just 20 miles from Bryan/College Station (It's at the Gibbons Creek Reservoir).

Instead of the coal plant being reopened, we would like to see the area redeveloped as a wildlife conservation and outdoor recreation area.

More details on this idea will be presented."
