UUWF members and friends participated in the 19th annual retreat held at Camp Allen in Navasota,

April 12 – 14. Retreat co-chairs, Nancy Granovsky and Mary Ellen Pate, selected What are our “IONS”?...ExploratION and InspiratION as the theme. Retreaters enjoyed recreatION, nutritION, reflectION, regeneratION, organizatION, creatION, libatION, religION, and contemplatION. The weekend was filled with fun, fellowship and activities.

The UUWF turns 30

Next meeting is June 2nd. Please join the UUWF members and friends, Sunday, June 2nd , 12:30 PM, at the home of Mary Ellen Pate for our last meeting and pot luck before summer break. Officers will be elected for the 2019-2020 year. Please join us as the UUWF celebrates 30 years of active service to the church and community.

The UUWF will resume monthly meetings on September 15th. Monthly meetings occur on the 3rd Sunday of the month unless otherwise specified.

Meet Our Minister

The Rev. Christian Schmidt is our interim minister, and first became a Unitarian Universalist in this congregation where he was an active member from 2006-2009. He has since served congregations in Massachusetts, New Jersey, and California. His interests include his family (including four little boys he and his wife are raising), sports, and theology.
