As we end UUCBV’s current fiscal year on May 31st, we are ever so grateful for the commitment and financial support provided from our members and friends. This was a journey that began in 2020 and concluded earlier this calendar year. Your generosity enabled us to REACH THE $300,000 GOAL that had been set by the Board of Trustees. The dream of a new church building is becoming a visible reality with every passing week. It could not have been done without your financial commitment. Your contributions form a lasting legacy to our vision, mission and presence in the community.
Although the fund-raising goal has been met, more donations are always welcome, as new needs and desires related to the building are found. Donations received during this calendar year qualify as charitable donations for the 2022 tax year. Please check with your financial advisor about your charitable giving options during the year.
We thank the following UUCBV members and friends who have answered the call to contribute to the Capital Campaign Building Fund. And we greatly appreciate the surprise donations we received from the First UU Church of Austin in honor of Reverend Kiya’s ordination that helped us close the gap in the $300,000 goal. UU generosity and commitment to UUCBV has been wonderful….mere words aren’t enough to express our appreciation! We look forward to celebrating you in our new church home!
