Recycle your plastic bags, plastic wrap of any kind in the plastic bag recycle bin at your local grocery store. The plastic is purchased and picked up by companies that make composite decking, playground equipment, outdoor benches, plastic bags, etc., as needed. The plastic can be recycled into new plastic bags and other building products, especially composite decking.
Recyclable plastic includes plastic grocery and retail bags, bread bags, mattress bags, furniture wrap, case over-wrap (found on diapers, toilet paper, etc.), dry cleaning bags, newspaper sleeves, ice bags, pellet bags, ziplock and other re-closable bags, produce bags, bubble wrap, salt bags, cereal bags, stretch film/pallet wrap. Remember, these bags must be clean.
