Green Tip of the Week

Updated: Sep 22, 2020

Customers of Bryan Texas Utilities - did you know you can opt in to RENEWability, a rate-rider option to receive 100% of your power from renewable sources, such as wind and solar? Currently it adds about 2 cents per kWh to the fuel portion of your rate (about $20/month for a medium size house). But the cost of new renewable development has been on the decline in recent years and any new resources acquired by BTU in the future should bring the price point for renewables down over time.
