Family Promise Volunteer Training this Sunday:

Family Promise of B/CS is a temporary shelter for homeless children and their families. This transitional program helps families achieve economic stability so that they may sustain a stable living environment for their children as they continue to attend school.

Over the past year, the UUBCV has committed to help this important non-profit organization with monetary donations and volunteer time.

The UUCBV pledged to be a Host Church for Family Promise once per quarter and our time is coming up soon - Sunday, March 15 - Saturday, March 21, 2020.

Volunteers are needed to buy groceries, prepare warm dinners and serve as dinner and overnight hosts during this week. Several of these positions required specific training.

I will be having a quick training session after service, Sunday, February 16 th after service. Please let me know if you are interested in joining our Family Promise Volunteer Group!
