Family Promise Update:

1. Tutors Needed: Monday – Friday from 3:30 to 5:30 pm for a 6-year-old brother & 10-year-old sister (both are really sweet) who have no after school to go to while mom works.

2. Thanks to volunteers who helped with the UUCBV Family Promise Week, September 15th to 21st – Carolyn Clark, Harriet Smith, Jerry Wagnon, John Ivy, Joyce Langenegger, Judy Hart, Katie Womack, Pam Johnson.

We had great meals including Shepard’s Pie, Chicken, Meatball Casserole, & John Ivy’s delicious home-made bread.

A special thanks to Harriet Smith & Pam Johnson who did triple duty, & Katie Womack who did double duty. Our next rotation will be Dec.15th – 22nd. We hope to have new volunteers.
