
Two Fair Trade Craft Sales! November 11th and December 9: for the 9th year at UU After service, in the multipurpose room Put Social Justice On Your Christmas List by purchasing beautiful handmade fair trade crafts from a women's co-op in Esperanza, Guatemala. Textiles, pine needle baskets, felted animals and other things for kids, stone and beaded jewelry, Christmas items such as ornaments and garlands, and more. All items are fair trade and contain recycled materials whenever possible. Since the second year of the program, funds from handicraft sales have paid for 100% of the expenses of the school and daycare, and currently subsidize the medical clinic in Esperanza, Guatemala.
