Citizens’ Climate Lobby Speaker

Updated: Apr 2, 2020

Sunday, August 11 Did you know that there’s been a history of connection between Citizens’ Climate Lobby and Unitarian Universalism? One 2014 CCL article* states that, “one-quarter to one-third of new CCL groups come through UU connections,” and there’s a local chapter right here in College Station! After the service on August 11, we’ll hear from chapter leader Raymond Tarpley about CCL’s legislative approach to climate change mitigation. The House will soon vote on a carbon pricing bill, so now is the time to learn where our TX Representative stands and what actions we can take to further climate justice.
