Be a Part of UUCBV's Religious Education

After a whirlwind summer, we are back at RE! Please fill out this year’s Registration form ( after viewing the class descriptions below for 2022-2023!

Little UUs Storytime:

Little UUs Storytime is ideal for ages 0-5. Each session, we will meet for a story, activity, and craft. For this year, we will be focusing on our world. We will have stories about different kinds of families, different kinds of people, and setting boundaries for ourselves and our bodies. We are emphasizing the first UU principle: The inherent worth and dignity of all people. If you would like to see a list of selected story titles, please contact Allison at

Meeting Times: First Tuesdays at 5:30 PM; Third Thursdays at 10:30 AM. You can come to one or both sessions as the stories will be different. We will meet at Tanglewood Park in Bryan.

Elementary Age: Superhero Academy:

Our RE Elementary Age class is ideal for grades K-5. What do superheroes have to teach us? Behind the action and spandex, there are real lessons to learn about anti-oppression and love. We will learn about what makes superheroes' hearts and minds so strong and how we can be a little more like Ms. Marvel, Black Panther, or Spiderman. Will you become a real-life superhero after our academy?

Meeting Time: Second Wednesdays at 5:30 PM; Location TBD

Youth Group: Building Bridges (A World Religions Program):

Our Youth Group is ideal for grades 6-12. From the Tapestry of Faith, “Building Bridges is a world religions program to deepen youth's understanding of the dynamic, fascinating, and varied world in which they live. It seeks to broaden their knowledge of humanity and embolden their spiritual search as we examine some of the closest kept treasures of the human heart. This exploration nurtures participants' positive outlook toward other faiths and the people who follow them.”

Meeting Time: Fourth Fridays at 5:30 PM; Park by the Brazos Center in Bryan

Please reach out if you have any questions! I am looking forward to a wonderful year! Allison Faber | she, her
