Address Pandemic Voting Crisis

TELL OUR TEXAS CONGRESS MEMBERS TO ADDRESS PANDEMIC VOTING CRISIS TXUUJM JOINS IN THIS EFFORT TURN UUSC GRANT INTO

$10,000  AS TXUUJM CONFRONTS JUSTICE VIRUS PRE-EXISTING CONDITIONS TURN "SHELTER IN PLACE" INTO A SPIRITUAL/JUSTICE RETREAT!! CHAPTER THIRTEEN

Texas UUs, I hope and pray you and your loved ones are keeping your hands clean, donning your masks in public and are well! In the next few weeks you can turn "sheltering in place" into a spiritual retreat with a focus on self - reflection radiating toward justice. As Congress debates federal bailouts of historic proportions, people's health, all of our well-being, and our democracy are at risk. Please write your Representative and Senator to tell them to put people first and safeguard free and fair elections in the next stimulus bill. No one should have to choose between participating in democracy and risking their life and the lives of their loved ones. COVID-19 is creating a health crisis, an economic crisis, and a democracy crisis. Congress needs to put people first in all three. Sign the letter HERE. For the 5th year in a row TXUUJM has received a grant from the UUSC totaling $68,000!!  This concretely signifies the UUSC's trust in TXUUJM for our faithful partnership. We just received a $4,000 grant to distribute another $16,000 to relieve overcrowding of migrants stuck in Nuevo Laredo and to partner with the Carrizo Comecrudo Tribe of Texas.

Perhaps you can invest a portion of your stimulus money to our Texas UU justice ministry.

INVEST IN TXUUJM CONFRONTING JUSTICE VIRUS PRE-EXISTING CONDITIONS HERE.

We WILL Bend Texas and America Toward Justice Together!

Soulfully,

Rev. Chuck Freeman
