Working title: Exercising your faith as a citizen: encouraging UU's to become more civically engaged.

Josh Wilkinson has lived in Bryan for 14 years and has worked for the Texas A&M Library for 12 years. He considers himself just an average working-class guy with a wife, two children, and a bunch of cats. But after the 2016 presidential election, he couldn't sit on the sidelines any longer and made the decision to run for state representative. Running on a progressive platform of increased public education funding, increased corporate taxes, criminal justice reform, and greater investment in clean energy, he managed to get 44% of the vote in a reliably conservative district.
