Artist-in-Residence, Joe Daigle, brings enthusiastic sound to our weekly All Ages Worship services.  The music continues into many other aspects of the UUCBV.  Joe Daigle composes, conducts and performs for our congregation to enjoy.  Guest musicians make regular appearances in our variety of worship formats and ceremonies.  Tune in and be inspired.

Would you like to play piano for us on Sundays?  We need a pianist accompanist.  Rehearse our small choir and/or soloist at 9:30  and accompany the service at 10:30.  Interested applicants please contact our Artist-in-Residence.  $100/Sunday and scheduling is flexible.

The search is underway for a pianist who can enhance Sunday worship.

Contact our Artist-in-Residence for more information.

Joe Daigle has served as the Artist-in-Residence since early 2017. Most Sundays you can find Joe conducting our choir Univoce; playing guitar or bassoon or even ukulele. Joe holds a Master of Music, Pedagogy and Performance from Oklahoma State University, and a Bachelor of Music in Bassoon Performance from Southeastern Louisiana University. Joe also serves as the orchestra director at Davila Middle School in Bryan.

Singing the Living Ukulele Workshops

Usually a two hour event, it begins with basic ukulele techniques but will have music to challenge more advanced players as well. We will provide a songbook to take home and some light snacks and are asking for a donation to cover expenses and to raise funds to support our music program at the UUCBV. Special pricing on packages including instruments is available by request so please do not miss out on the joy of singing and playing with a room full of ukes!

Stay TUNED to our blog to find out when our next Ukulele workshop will be.
