For the months of March-May 2020, half of your cash donations will go to the Pride Community Center. The Pride Community Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that seeks to build community, provide resources and services, and offer education and outreach for the LGBTQ community in Brazos Valley.
Currently, The Pride Community Center does not have a physical location for events and meetings. Instead, they partner with different venues and organizations, like the UUCBV. This arrangement allows persons of all sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression, along with their families and friends, to meet and socialize without having to worry about who they are.
The UUCBV has already collaborated with the Pride Community Center, sponsoring the 2019 LGBT Summer Potluck and the post-Thanksgiving Pridesgiving Dessert Potluck. For more information about the Pride Community Center, please visit pridecc.org.
