Texas Campaign for the Environment

The E in MSJE stands for the Environment

Are you concerned about our Environment?

In November, Texans will elect a new Commissioner to the Railroad Commission of Texas – the state agency responsible for the oil and gas industry, coal mining, and uranium mining in Texas.  People are concerned that the Railroad Commission is NOT fulfilling its responsibility to protect the people and natural resources of Texas.  But we can do something about this!

Join the conversation next Wednesday, May 27 at 7PM on how we can make this agency more accountable to the people of Texas – not just special interests.  Learn the viewpoints and positions of candidates Chrysta Castañeda(confirmed), Roberto Alonzo (confirmed) and James Wright (not confirmed yet).  Register today for the May 27th Railroad Commission Candidates Forum.
