Pride Community Center, Inc postpones the Big Gay 5K and BBQ amid the continued concern of the Coronavirus 2019 pandemic

College Station, Texas, March 18, 2020 -- After much review of the current state of the COVID-19 pandemic and the public health concerns, Pride Community Center, Inc has made the decision to postpone the 2020 BIG Gay 5K and BBQ.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We feel this is the best decision to make to ensure the safety and health of our attendees, volunteers and staff. A future event date will be announced shortly. We hope you’ll still be able to join us! Pride Community Center leadership continues to monitor the situation daily and is actively discussing options in regard to other upcoming activities with all the risks and precautions in mind. Leadership is reviewing virtual options to be able to continue the monthly support groups. If you have any questions, or need to talk to someone, please contact us via or dialing 979.217.1324.
