The UUWF met May 16 for the business meeting of the 2020/2021 church year as we head into summer mode. Ten members attended the meeting. Officers were elected for the 2021/2022 church year. They are Katie Womack and Harriet Smith – Co-Chairs; Kathy Wheeler-Treasurer; and Sharon Boston-Secretary. The position of Program Chair is open.
The members passed a motion to make a donation from UUWF to the UUCBV building fund. This is a matching donation, with UUWF contributing $500. Members and friends are invited to contribute.
In other business, the members agreed to take part in a joint meeting hosted by the UU Women of the Waco UU Fellowship. This will be a Zoom meeting on Thursday, June 3rd at 7:30pm. Check the UUCBV calendar for the Zoom link closer to the event.
We will reconvene in August and begin plans in earnest for the Camp Allen retreat in October!
