Dear members and friends of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Brazos Valley,
I want to tell you how glad I am to step into this role as your halftime contract minister, starting August 1.
It has been such a pleasure getting to know some of you, and I look forward to getting to know more of you as the summer and fall go forward.
From what I have already seen your congregation is a passionately engaged group, with your eyes on your mission in the community.Your focus on social justice is a good fit with my focus as well.
My wife Meg and I moved to Texas more than ten years ago, and we love it here. We know there’s no finer place to be. I look forward to working side by side with all of you towards helping to build the Beloved Community we all dream of.
I look forward to talking with you, singing with you, navigating the building of your new space with you, and seeing what you want UUCBV to become as we move into the future together.
