Happy Wednesday from RE!

Updated: Oct 22, 2020

This week in RE will be super special! Our resident origami expert, David will lead us in an origami tutorial to create a paper crane. All you need is a piece of paper!

To go along with our origami activity, we will hear Sadako’s story whose paper cranes and tenacity inspired the Children’s Peace Monument at Hiroshima Peace Park.

We look forward to seeing you on Sunday at 10 AM.

If you are unable to attend on Sunday morning, please see the attached instructions in order to make your own paper crane. You can read more about Sadako’s story here: Sadako's Story

IMPORTANT: Please send me an updated address for your child. RE Volunteers are working on delivering supplies/UU care packages periodically and we want to make sure we get it to the right place!

UPDATE: Trick or Treat for UNICEF!

“It’s finally here! The countdown to Halloween and launch of Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF 2020! Now, we know that the coronavirus pandemic means many trick-or-treaters won’t be going door to door this year. But we’ve got some good news: This October, you can join the 70th year of Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF as it goes virtual for the very first time.”

Please see our UUCBV RE Virtual Donation Box via the link below and contribute to this UUCBV tradition!

In an extended celebration of Halloween and other fall holidays, we invite and encourage costumes on 10/25 and 11/1.
