Happy Thursday!
I hope everyone is enjoying this amazing weather! It actually feels like Halloween! This time of year features several festivals, holidays, or community events featuring commemorations of loved ones who have passed before us. In celebration of All Souls Day and Samhain, we will remember our loved ones (animal or human) and talk about how several cultures recognize this time of year as the time when the barrier between the earthly world and the spiritual world is thinnest. I hope to see you all there!
IN-PERSON MEET UP: Come join us for a time of playing and fellowship with one another! We will be meeting on Sunday, November 1, at 4 PM at Hensel Park. This event is masked. We cannot wait to see you!
IMPORTANT: Please send an updated address for your child to admin@brazos-uu.org . RE Volunteers are working on delivering supplies/UU care packages periodically and we want to make sure we get it to the right place!
REMEMBER: Trick or Treat for UNICEF!
“It’s finally here! The countdown to Halloween and launch of Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF 2020! Now, we know that the coronavirus pandemic means many trick-or-treaters won’t be going door to door this year. But we’ve got some good news: This October, you can join the 70th year of Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF as it goes virtual for the very first time.”
Please see our UUCBV RE Virtual Donation Box via the link below and contribute to this UUCBV tradition!

In an extended celebration of Halloween and other fall holidays, we invite and encourage costumes on 11/1.
You may have received our weekly RE email because you have participated in RE before and/or your name is listed on UUCBV’s RE Roster of children and teachers. If you no longer want to be on this email list, please let us know.
Peace and love!
Happy Thursday from RE!
