Get Ready to UU the Vote in 2022!

Attacks on trans and queer people, reproductive freedom, voting rights, the planet…the stakes for our democracy and our world have never been higher, and Unitarian Universalists are gearing up again to meet the urgent needs of the moment. Building on the incredible momentum from 2020 when over 5,000 volunteers in 450 congregations contacted more than 3 million voters, UU the Vote 2022 is ready to fight for a world where all communities are free and thriving.

In this midterm year, UU the Vote will focus on bringing UU values to the forefront, fighting for ballot measures in key states, and equipping volunteers to have deep conversations about the issues that matter most. We continue to build power for long-haul organizing with trainings and support for congregations and teams, support for UU state action networks, empowering young adult and BIPOC fellows, and deepening relationships with local frontline partners. Whatever skills or passion you bring, UU the Vote needs the participation of all of our congregations and communities in this critical election year. This email includes ways for everyone to get involved.
