As a Reproductive Freedom Congregation, Should We Be DEFENDING ABORTION IN TEXAS?

Updated: Jul 18, 2021

ree

The Brazos UU is a Reproductive Freedom Congregation.

What does that mean?

"We trust and respect all people for their reproductive decisions."

We went through the process to be named a Reproductive Freedom Congregation, but should we just talk the talk or WALK THE WALK?

We now have the opportunity to start WALKING THE WALK.

Defending Abortion in Texas Tuesday, July 20, 12 p.m. CDT Online via Zoom Details provided upon registration.

Texans filled the streets to protest our state's most extreme anti-abortion bill, SB8. Now, we're taking our fight to the courts to block this near-total ban on abortion from taking effect in September.

Brought to you by Planned Parenthood Federation of America, The Lawyering Project, the Center for Reproductive Rights, Morrison & Foerster LLP, and the ACLU of Texas.
